College Scholarship

Nashua Area Artists Association Scholarships

Each year the NAAA awards two separate scholarships to senior high school students interested in pursuing a college education in the arts. One of the scholarships is funded by the NAAA and the second is funded by the Calvin Libby Memorial Art Scholarship on behalf of the Unitarian Univeralist Church in Nashua. The determinations are based on interviews with the candidates, a review of their applications, and their submitted artwork.

2008 $1,000. Nashua Area Association Scholarship Winner

Justianna Andrews of Milford, Will be attending the Art Institute of Boston.

2008 $1,000. Nashua Unitarian Universalist Church Calvin Libby Memorial Scholarhip Winner

Lauren Duda of Merrimack, will be attending the Savannah School of Art and Design (SCAD) in Georgia.

The 2007 $1,000. Nashua Area Association Scholarship Winner

Sarah McMullen, currently a senior at Nashua High School North, will be attending Smith College

The 2007 $1,000. Nashua Unitarian Universalist Church Calvin Libby Memorial Scholarhip Winner

Stephanie Swanson, currently a senior at Nashua High South, will be attending the Rhode Island School Of Design.

Past Winners

Lauren Henderson and Katherine Rudolph were the recipients of the two scholarships awarded in 2005 by the NAAA. They are shown here at the Greeley Park Art Show, where they displayed some of their work. Congratulations to both of them, and good luck to the applicants in 2006!
