President |
The President shall preside at all meetings of the Association. In case of an equal division on any questions, S/he shall have a deciding vote. S/he shall serve as Chairman of the Executive Committee and as an ex-officio member of all other committees. He shall keep the original certified copy of the Association’s Constitution and Bylaws. The President is responsible for representing the NAAA to the Public. The President can appoint vacant chair positions. (Benefit: Free sidewalk booth at Greeley Park Art show, and Free 1 year Gallery membership with 10% commission taken on sold items.) |

Vice President |
The Vice President shall discharge all duties of the President in his absence. In the event of the absence of both the President and Vice President, a temporary Chairman shall be elected from among the Artist Members of the Executive Committee. Recording Secretary |
The Recording Secretary shall keep a faithful record of the proceedings of the meetings of the Association and of the Executive Committee and a roll call of the members. S/he shall be responsible for all keys, documents, and records of the Association. S/he shall keep a duplicate certified copy of the Association’s Constitution and Bylaws. Corresponding Secretary |
It is the duty of the Corresponding Secretary to work with the Editor of the newsletter/website to assure that proper notice of all meetings and other notices as necessary are sent to membership, to conduct the correspondence of the Association, and to prepare grant presentations. Membership Coordinator |
The membership coordinator shall maintain and keep
current the NAAA
membership list via an Excel spreadsheet.
S/he will maintain an emailing list of current members and provide
copies and excerpts of all lists to the NAAA Board, the Publicity
Historian person and the Newsletter editor
upon request. (Benefit: Free 1 year NAAA Membership) |

Treasurer |
The Treasurer shall handle the Association’s financial affairs and shall collect and, under the direction and with the approval of the Executive Committee, disburse its funds. S/he shall furnish a written report on the state of the funds at every Annual Meeting and more often if requested by the President or by the Executive Committee. His/her accounts shall be audited once a year by a committee or auditor appointed by the President. The treasurer shall submit monthly reports to the President. The treasurer shall work with the NAAA board to set budgets. (Benefit: Free 1 year NAAA Membership, Free 1 year Gallery membership with 10% commission taken on items sold) |

Gallery One Manager |
The Gallery Manager will manage all the day to day activities and duties of the Gallery. S/he will organize all the volunteer help. S/he will schedule Gallery events, shows, etc. Gallery One manager will help with fund raising at the Gallery The Gallery Manager will report to the NAAA President. (Benefit: Free Gallery Membership with no commissions taken, use of small space in Classroom for personal artwork) |

Newsletter Editor |
The Newsletter editor will take all the info given to the NAAA and process it into a monthly newsletter(this includes pictures). Every month S/he shall be given info from each area of the NAAA. The newsletter editor will print/have printed the newsletter in black and white then give it to the membership coordinator for mailing. Then a color.pdf will be made of the newsletter and given to the Webmaster to be posted on the NAAA website. |

Webmaster |
The Webmaster will be in charge of representing the NAAA to the Public on the World Wide Web. S/he will either produce the website by themselves or manage any outside help. The webmaster will seek out and employ new technologies which will help get our message out on the WWW. A NAAA website committee will help keep consistency with the whole NAAA organization. S/he will fill web requests from any NAAA board member. The webmaster will update and maintain the NAAA website including the domain name and web host. |

Publicity/Historian |
The publicity person shall take NAAA information and present it to the
public via newspaper, web, TV, etc.
S/he will author and actively create press releases, web articles and
other public information about the NAAA, its business, its shows and
activities, and about current, past and upcoming events. S/he will be the main contact to the Newspapers, radio, web, etc. S/he will maintain, extend and keep current the NAAA's media distribution list and the "Friends of the Gallery" mailing list, and share electronic copies of all lists with the board members on a semi-annual basis. When given information from the President or NAAA board, should distribute it appropriately. This includes publicity for all shows including Gallery One, and the Greeley Park Art Show. |

Programs/Demos Coordinator |
The Programs and Demos coordinator will find artists willing to give a guest demonstration at our monthly meetings. S/he will fill the yearly schedule of demos. If a guest artist cannot be found for a month, then The NAAA will provide it’s member meeting with a Paint-a-long or other form of Artist education. |

Greeley Park Art Show Director |
The Greeley Park Manager shall manage and delegate all tasks for the Greeley Park Art Show. It is his/her responsibility to organize all the volunteers/Board members for this large show. The Greeley Park Manager may appoint a Co-Greeley Park Manager. S/he shall manage all the tasks and report to the NAAA board with suggestions on what needs to be done and when. S/he shall inform the NAAA Board on every step taken towards the yearly event. (Benefit: Free sidewalk booth at Greeley Park Art show, Free 1 year NAAA Membership) |

Scholarship Coordinator |
The Scholarship Coordinator will be in charge of all duties related to the $1000. NAAA scholarship given out each year. S/he will create the applications, assist the students applying, and help with fund raising for this event. S/he will assemble a team to judge the students artwork. S/he will be in charge of managing the funds along with the Treasurer. At Greeley Park, the Scholarship Coordinator will be in charge of all aspects of the Scholarship tent. |

Children's Show Coordinator |
The Children’s Show coordinator will be in charge of all aspects of any Children’s show put on by the NAAA including the children’s show at Greeley Park. S/he shall pick judges, create and distribute applications, help the children with applying, secure prizes, awards, and ribbons, etc. S/he will be a liaison between the schools and the NAAA organization. |

1.) The benefits as described for certain office holders are in recognition of the often substantial time commitment that goes with the office. They are proposed at this time and the Board has yet to vote on them.
