Jewelry Extravaganza/Open Doors at Gallery One The next General meeting of the NAAA will be held at
Gallery One on Wednesday December 10, 2008 at 8:00pm. The meeting will be followed by an NAAA Christmas Party!

Gallery One is featuring Christne Ryan as the Featured Artist at Gallery One
for the months of November and December. Opening Reception will be held from 2-5pm on Nov. 29th at Gallery One. The Jewelry Extravaganza Show will happen on November 8th and 9th (12pm-5pm)at Gallery One which will host a Jewelry show in
preparation for the Holidays. Artisans and Artists are invited to apply for the Jewelry show before the event and to participate. Please contact Marilene Sawaf

NAAA Officer Elections for 2008-2009 are as follows President - John Hauschildt New Show Scheduled: Ripple Effect Show The Nashua Area Artist Association is pleased to announce a Call for Artists for its "Ripple Effect Show" in
Fall 2008. Due to the increasing cost of running the Nashua Area Artists Association, the NAAA board voted to increase the NAAA adult annual dues to $30/year.
Details to be announced here shortly. Are you our next "Featured Artist"? We still have a few slots open for Featured Artists for 2008. To qualify you must not have been a Featured Artist at Gallery One for 12 months. The
Featured Artist's work is shown for two months. Currently still available

Are you our next "Featured Artist"?
Christine A. Ryan, a New England native, has been photographing quintessential New England for the last twenty
four years. In the Spring of 2004, while visiting a childhood friend, Christine discovered her love of painting. A photograph can capture the image of a moment
but not the feeling, Christine conveys that feeling on canvas.
Studying under the tutelage of Sally Grigas, Christine has developed a passion for oil paint but is always experimenting with new mediums. Not to be placed in a box
as an artist, Christine paints whatever inspires her. Recent trips to Paris and Niagara Falls have generated a wonderful new array of material for Christine to work
with.
In 2008 Christine took her hobby and love of painting to the next level. She joined the Nashua Area Artist Association, participated in many local shows including the Greeley Park
55th Annual Art Show were she won 3rd place in oils for her painting of the Louvre, Paris France. She will also be the featured artist of the month at Gallery One in
Nashua, NH for the month of November and December. Original oil paintings, quality giclee prints and note cards will be available. If interested please visit Christines

Each artist is expected to supply their own tables/displays(up to 8 feet long): Cost is $25 for up-to-date NAAA members, $50 for non NAAA members.

Our Charter
The Nashua Area Artist Association is a non-profit educational organization whose goal is the advancement of art. Since 1951 the NAAA enthusiastically meets this goal through demonstrations by local and nationally known artists, scholarships to local high school artists, seminars, guidance on the business aspects of being an artist, and shows to encourage public participation in the arts.
We are an all-volunteer organization.
